For reading my teacher gave the class two choices for an activity, the activity was to make a Rangoli either inside or outside. I choose to do mine outside because I wanted to use chalk and because I wanted to make mine big. I found this activity really easy and fun and found nothing hard.

Hi! Happy first of october. My class have been working on our Calendar art for a few weeks now and I finally finished mine. I really like mine. I really like this activity because I love art. I found it really easy to dye my background but hard to draw my bird. Can you guess my bird? The answer is a fantail. I hope you like my art work.
When I made this it was hard for me, because I found it very hard to make a person out of google drawings. I really enjoyed this activity because I liked to find facts and to read about SAint mary mackillop. I hope you like my work. I hope you learned more about Mary Mackillop when you read my work.
Do you think that the fishing industries are innocent? If you think that they are innocent, well you're wrong. I could tell you over and over why they are monsters. I firmly believe that we shouldn't be polluting? Did you know for a fact that the most pollution of the ocean comes from fishing industries, and the abandoned nets from the fishermen k8ll them the most.
First of all people shouldn't be fishing in polluted oceans because if we still fish in them they just become worse. Because they will get more caught together. The fish nets do not only catch fish they catch endangered turtles, dolphins, seals and sharks. Imagine being a sea animal and getting caught by anbv lazy fisherman's fish net.
Last of all I think people are cruel to think that it is ok to pollute the ocean and say " that piece of rubbish doesn't mean anything" well it does . What did the animals do to you? Remember to do to others ( animals) what you want to be done to you.
In conclusion think that the ocean would be more clear and not full of nets and dead fish, if we don't have a lot of fishing industries and lazy and cruel fishermen. That is why I think that there should be fewer Fishing industries.
Last week Thursday my class started a piece of writing about the wolf from Red Riding Hood.This is the plan that we made for the writing. I had a lot of fun writing this plan a debating with my friends. I hope you agree with me that the wolf from "Red Riding Hood" is innocent.
Yesterday my class made a poster because it's is social justice week. In this poster I put in a verse from the bible aka beatitude. I really enjoyed this activity. Today in my class were we learning about the Paralympics. To support the Paralympics we could either wear a orange or gold clothing to the call. I really enjoyed this activity and I love how they made the Paralympics so disabled people can enjoy it too. I found it very easy to research and find facts about the Paralympics.
Today for R.E my class was to choose a saint, then we had to write a slide presentation about the saint we chose. This task was easy but it took me a while. In this activity we were learning about a Saint. The reason why I chose Saint Mary Mackillop because that is the name of a house and I am in Saint Mary Mackillop blue house.

During lockdown my teacher asked the class to wear a funky hat so we could have a funky hat day. I really enjoyed wearing my hat. I found it hard to wear my hat the whole time in the call so I took it off halfway.

Today my class was able to choose a science experiment of our choice. Our choices was building a fizz inflator, make a volcano or you could explode a lunch bag, and I chose to explode a lunch bag. Today in my class was to find similar word's towards faith. I had a little help from the website thesaurus. This was an exiting task, because I got to customize it. Today in class we had to pick an activity we wanted to do outside so we could do some exercises. I chose to do a cartwheel and a handstand but then a handstand was too hard for me so I just chose to do a cartwheel.I really enjoyed this and I didn't find anything hard.

Today in class we had to find fact about the great white shark then to make a slide and put all the fats I found. In this book WALHT (we are learning how to) apply knowledge. My class was learning about robots and how they have improved over the years.Our task was to find a problem.Then think of a robot that can fix the problem.We were learning how to summarise across multiple texts in this book, we were supposed to read this with our teacher but because of lockdown we had to read it without the teacher. I really enjoyed this activity and I had no problems in the making of this.

This week my class had a science experiment about how bees pollinate flowers. The equipment we had was a tuning fork, a cut ballon, plastic cup, flour ( pollen), paint brush, black laminated paper. Before we did our experiment we had to read the instruction. We used the balloon to cover the top of the cup, then brushed the flour (pollen) onto the balloon after that we hit the tuning fork on a desk or on a chair. Then we gently tip the cup sideways, so I could touch the cup with the tuning fork so we can see the difference.
After our Science experiment we were to read and find fact about bees. My group called ruby rhinos read the "The Language of Bees and Other Insects" book by Megan Kopp on epic, with our teacher. Our group had to find key information from the book, then find 20 keywords. When we had 20 key words we narrowed it down to 6 words, after we had our 6 words we had to form up sentences with 6 words.
Last week my class had to to make a slideshow about Japan, I think that's because the Olympics is held in Japan this year. In the next Olympics I would want it to be held in Mexico because I would love to see what their Mascot will be. I really enjoyed making this slide and finding good facts. This video helped me.
This week for R.E( Religious Education) We had to draw a poster about Faith. In the poster there is a bible verse about faith and the is a piece which i say what faith means to me. It really fun and easy, I had no problems in the making of this Faith poster.
A few days ago for maths my class had to make a mini golf course, then we had to measure the mini golf course using the small square units. After we measured it we had to find the area and the perimeter of the course.
Last week my class had to write a poem about our favourite part of our body. I didn't have a favourite part of my body because I love them all so I decided to make a poem about my body. I enjoyed writing this poem because it was so short and Simple.
Today in class we had cybersmart. If you don't know what cybersmart is it's a subject where we learn how to use our chromebooks and how to be safe online, but today we were learning on how to code using a site called scratch. Scratch is a site for people mostly children on how to code and make games. I really enjoyed this project. It was kind of difficult to adjust because I haven't used scratch for a while. I was really excited when my teacher said we had cybersmart because we haven't had cybersmart for a while. If you play my game all the stars will do different things
During week one of term 2 my whole entire class had to write an explanation writing about their room. I have been working on this piece of writing for two weeks but forgot to publish. This writing was very fun to work on even though it took a long time. In writing our focus was to describe, that's why I had to explain every single detail about my room.
My Peaceful Kingdom
My room is peaceful, clean, quiet and bright. Unlike my brother's room I like cleaning my room and keeping it clean.
My room is the best room in the house because I can see the sunrise and the sunset. In my room there is a queen bed and a single bed. I just hate seeing my room dirty because it just feels disgusting.
I like it when it is sunny and breezy because I can just lie down and get lost in a book until I fall asleep. Sometimes when I open my windows I can hear tons of birds chirping. It's a very peaceful and relaxing sound. In my room I always feel so free, because I can roam anywhere I want to. I love my room so much I would never trade it for my brother's room. My kingdom still bans the ugly troll known as my brother.
In week 3-4 we had to watch a video about the story of Abraham and Sarah then write a roleplay about them. In my group was Unaise, Mikaela, Paula and myself. I enjoyed this activities a lot and I had absolutely no difficulties.
The story started in Canaan, where there was an old couple named Abraham & Sarah. The old couple wanted kids but Sarah wasn't able to have any children. On one evening, God appeared out of thin air and said "If you believe in me throughout your journey I will give you as many children as the dust particles". Abraham delivered the news to Sarah but she laughed. They started their journey in Ur before walking to Canaan. They waited and waited years passed but Abraham and Sarah we're getting inpatient but they stuck by God's word. Time flew so quickly, it pasted Abrahams 169 th birthday. A few years later Sarah found out she was pregnant. When Sarah got pregnant she named her son Isaac.
Fun fact Abraham & Sarah traveled 700 miles to the borders of present-day Iraq, another 700 miles into Syria, another 800 down to Egypt by the inland road, and then back into Canaan - what is now Israel.

On April first my class made a hot cross buns. I wasn't here when they made it because I had family reasons ( I went rere rock slide ). The hot cross is very important for holy week because each bun is decorated with a cross made from flour paste, which represents the cross on which Christ died. The spices in hot cross buns are said to represent the spices which were used to embalm Christ after his death the round shape represent the rock closing Jesus's tomb.
For art my teacher Taught my class about the shading. It was really fun it took less than three weeks to make. I came through hard time when my pencil and paintbrush failed me but I got through it. Even though it was hard to make, it was still fun. In the future would like to work on more art work .
This week in class we were learning about Saint patrick. My whole entire class had to do a poster about saint patrick, we had to list down 5 to 8 facts about Saint patrick.In my poster I listed down 8 facts about Saint patrick. I did 3 long facts and 5 fun facts. I enjoyed finding fun fact about Saint patrick because I got to learn a lot and I found nothing challenging.
Today in class i was learning about what you do on the internet, and the kawa of care and on how to take good care of your chromebook. This google drawing shows you what you should do to take very good care of you computer. I enjoyed adding the pictures. I found it difficult to find the most useful rule.
Today in class i was learning about what amazing and good learners do, And my teacher took photos of us then we had to edit our picture. This is mine, as you can see that huge puppy well his my side kick(more like i am his sidekick).
A few weeks ago my whole class had to prepare a slide presentation. We had to write two stories about the holidays and we also had to make up a fake story. So how it works is that you have to figure out if the story is true or not. If you think it's True click on the word True but if you think it's False click on the word Lie
Today in class I was learning about the Chinese new year because this is a new year. And did you know the Chinese new year festival started 3 days ago.
Today in class I have been learning about the Waitangi treaty and how many people signed the treaty of Waitangi because it was Waitangi day a few days ago. I enjoyed learning about the Waitangi treaty and how a sixteen-year-old translated the treaty( oops I wasn't supposed to say that. I found it challenging to find juicy facts. Next time I make a blog post I will try to add more detail.
