Story of Abraham and & Sarah

In week 3-4  we had to watch a video about the story of Abraham and Sarah then write a roleplay about them. In my group was Unaise, Mikaela, Paula and myself. I enjoyed this activities a lot and I had absolutely no difficulties.

The story started in Canaan, where there was an old couple named Abraham & Sarah. The old couple wanted kids but Sarah wasn't able to have any children. On one evening, God appeared out of thin air and said "If you believe in me throughout your journey I will give you as many children as the dust particles". Abraham delivered the news to Sarah but she laughed. They started their journey in Ur before walking to Canaan. They waited and waited years passed but Abraham and Sarah we're getting inpatient but they stuck by God's word. Time flew so quickly, it pasted Abrahams 169 th birthday. A few years later Sarah found out she was pregnant. When Sarah got pregnant she named her son Isaac.

Fun fact Abraham & Sarah traveled 700 miles to the borders of present-day Iraq, another 700 miles into Syria, another 800 down to Egypt by the inland road, and then back into Canaan - what is now Israel.

Have you ever heard the story about Abraham and Sarah?

Holy week

Today in class we had to do a flip grid about Holly week starting from when Jesus entered Jerusalem and ending when  God took Jesus back on a cloud. I had a lot of fun making the flip grid. If you want to see my flip grid you can press the link at the bottom. I found nothing hard to do because it was easy.

David & Goliath Bible Story

One day Samuel was talking to God and God mention that Saul was a very bad and naughty king and that there should be a new king. God said that there was an old man named Jesse and that he had eight sons and one of them should be king. When Samuel arrived at Jesse's farm he introduced himself to Jesse and asked for his sons. Samuel saw that they were strong but God was not happy with any of them so Samuel asked if he had another son. Jesse said that David, his youngest son was not a king type because he would rather play music than become a king.

While Samuel was at Jesse's farm, Saul was so scared that they might lose the fight with the Philistines and wanted to hear some calm music to calm him down. So he asked one of his servants to get Samuel. When Samuel arrived at the palace, Saul asked Samuel if he knew anyone that could play soft music for him. Samuel remembered that Jesse's son, David played soft music and he would be able to calm down the king.

While David would play music, the King would mostly fall asleep and David would always see his brothers on the battlefield and wished that he could be able to battle on the battlefield. One morning David asked his brothers if he could go with them but they told him to ask the king first before he could even put a foot on the battlefield. After they talked David marched straight to the palace to see the King. "David is that you? Because I do not need you anymore" Saul told David. "I did not come here to play music, I want permission to go on the battlefield", but instead of the king saying yes/no, he laughed. David looked so serious at the King. The King told David if he would allow him on the battlefield, he would just be leading him to his own death and that he should take King's armor but David said "No thank you". When David arrived at the battlefield, the Philistines had a new battler and he was a giant named Goliath. Goliath said if the Philistines won the Israelite will be the servants of the Philistines. Then a little voice came from the very back said "What happens if the Israelites win? "haha wait are you serious?" said Goliath. When David reached the middle of the battlefield he picked up a rock from the ground and picked a slingshot that was hanging from his clothes, then he aimed and shot Goliath in the forehead. The Philistines were the slaves for the Israelite on that day forward.
