During the Samoan language week, my reading group named Ruby Rhinos were learning about the Samoan tatau. Tatau is the Samoan word for tattoo. Both of my parent have the tatau they both of got their tattoos made the traditional way. There are two ways of making the Samoan tattoo. There's the traditional one, and the other that uses a modern tattoo machine. The traditional way of making the tattoo involves a shark tooth! ( I learnt this from the book named Man at sea. ) I enjoyed this activity a lot. Would you want a Samoan tattoo and if you do would you get it done in the traditional way using a shark's tooth?

The evolution of the World
Yesterday in class we had cybersmart, cybersmart is a subject where we learn to be smart on the internet. Our inquiry focus for this term is our past present and our future. I really enjoyed making the slides. I had no difficulties in the making of this slide show.

Hot cross buns making
On April first my class made a hot cross buns. I wasn't here when they made it because I had family reasons ( I went rere rock slide ). The hot cross is very important for holy week because each bun is decorated with a cross made from flour paste, which represents the cross on which Christ died. The spices in hot cross buns are said to represent the spices which were used to embalm Christ after his death the round shape represent the rock closing Jesus's tomb.
