Land of the rising. (ART)

In my class we were learning on how to blend in oil pastels. We had a week and a bit to finish our art.
This piece of painting was inspired by Japan also known as the land of the rising sun. I really enjoyed adding the white cherry blossoms and drawing the pagoda. Do you know what a Pagoda is? A pagoda is a Japanese temple that is usually used for religious reasons. Even though I enjoyed drawing my pagoda it was still difficult.

Tokyo

 Last week my class had to to make a slideshow about Japan, I think that's because the Olympics is held in Japan this year. In the next Olympics I would want it to be held in Mexico because I would love to see what their Mascot will be. I really enjoyed making this slide and finding good facts.  This video helped me.

Faith (poster)

 This week for R.E( Religious Education) We had to draw a poster about Faith. In the poster there is a bible verse about faith and the is a piece which i say what faith means to me. It really fun and easy, I had no problems in the making of this Faith poster.   

Olympic's Tokyo 2021

This week for reading my class had to do a presentation about the olympic games in Tokyo. We had to research about the opening ceremony, the ancient olympics and the Olympics Tokyo mascots 2021. I had a lot of fun researching and finding facts. I found nothing difficult while I was researching. I found some really amazing information about the mascot.

Project 2000( Aqua pod)

Before the science experiment.

My class is going to do a science experiment using a rocket powered by air pressure. It looks like a orange drone but without the propellers.  I think that the rocket is going to blast very high because of how much pressure the pump is going to put into the water bottle.

Do you know how to set up an aqua pod? First you have to fill a third of the water bottle, then you have to attach the bottle to the aqua pod by flipping the aqua pod upside down then you push the bottle against the aqua pod. If you hear a click its secure. 

 

My mini golf course

 A few days ago for maths my class had to make a mini golf course, then we had to measure the mini golf course using the small square units. After we measured it we had to find the area and the perimeter of the course.    

My body poem.

Last week my class had to write a poem about our favourite part of our body. I didn't have a favourite part of my body because I love them all so I decided to make a poem about my body. I enjoyed writing this poem because it was so short and Simple.

Scratch Project

 Today in class we had cybersmart. If you don't know what cybersmart is it's a subject where we learn how to use our chromebooks and how to be safe online, but today we were learning on how to code using a site called scratch. Scratch is a site for people mostly children on how to code and make games. I really enjoyed this project. It was kind of difficult to adjust because I haven't used scratch for a while. I was really excited when my teacher said we had cybersmart because we haven't had cybersmart for a while. If you play my game all the stars will do different things   

My peaceful kingdom

 During week one of term 2 my whole entire class had to write an explanation writing about their room.  I have been working on this piece of writing for two weeks but forgot to publish. This writing was very fun to work on even though it took a long time. In writing our focus was to describe, that's why I had to explain every single detail about my room.  

My Peaceful Kingdom

My room is peaceful, clean, quiet and bright. Unlike my brother's room I like cleaning my room and keeping it clean.

My room is the best room in the house because I can see the sunrise and the sunset. In my room there is a queen bed and a single bed. I just hate seeing my room dirty because it just feels disgusting.

I like it when it is sunny and breezy because I can just lie down and get lost in a book until I fall asleep. Sometimes when I open my windows I can hear tons of birds chirping. It's a very peaceful and relaxing sound. In my room I always feel so free, because I can roam anywhere I want to. I love my room so much I would never trade it for my brother's room. My kingdom still bans the ugly troll known as my brother. 

Signing my name

 Today in class we had to sign our name. What  I said in the video is "Kia ora, Nice to meet you. My name is A R C A N G E L A". I enjoyed learning about sing language. I enjoyed this activity so much that there 

 was no difficulties in the journey of learning my name. 

WW1 postcard

To day in class we had to write a journal or a postcard from world war 1 and we got to make up a fictional character. I enjoyed making this post card. I had no difficulties in the making of this post card. I choose light milkisk green for the background because it my favourite colour. The reason why I choose fancy font is because I think that back in the olden days they always wrote in cursive.   

  

My mothers day card

This whole week we had to make a card for our mothers, for mothers day. First we had to trace a heart on our cards then we had to poke holes on the heart with skewers,after that we had to use the skewer as a needle but before that we had to tape the yarn on to the skewer. I really enjoyed making this card for my mother.  

Arcangela's Amazing Whale art!!

A few week ago my whole entire class read a story about 7 whales that solved sea animals problems. I enjoyed dying my whale and if anyone wants to know my whales name his name is Steve. In class my teachers told us to sketch lightly. I know that my art  work isn't the best but it the best I can do.

Holy week

Today in class we had to do a flip grid about Holly week starting from when Jesus entered Jerusalem and ending when  God took Jesus back on a cloud. I had a lot of fun making the flip grid. My amazing and most beautiful piece of artwork

For art my teacher Taught my class about the shading. It was really fun it took less than three weeks to make. I came through hard time when my pencil and paintbrush failed me but I got through it. Even though it was hard to make, it was still fun. In the future  would like to work on more art work .
