Today in my class were we learning about the Paralympics. To support the Paralympics we could either wear a orange or gold clothing to the call. I really enjoyed this activity and I love how they made the Paralympics so disabled people can enjoy it too. I found it very easy to research and find facts about the Paralympics.

In this activity we were learning about a Saint. The reason why I chose Saint Mary Mackillop because that is the name of a house and I am in Saint Mary Mackillop blue house.

Funky hat day
During lockdown my teacher asked the class to wear a funky hat so we could have a funky hat day. I really enjoyed wearing my hat. I found it hard to wear my hat the whole time in the call so I took it off halfway.
What hat do you think I am wearing?
What is the most funkiest hat you own?

3D cube
Today in class one of our activities was to make a 3D shape with paper. I chose to make a cube. I think this activity was supposed to be a walk in the park but I was really frustrated with how difficult it was. Next time I make a 3D shape, I'd like to use a bigger piece of paper because it might be easier. If you want to make your own cube, click this link "How to make a Cube" and let me know what your favourite 3D shape is.

Explode the lunch bag!!!! (experiment)
Today my class was able to choose a science experiment of our choice. Our choices was building a fizz inflator, make a volcano or you could explode a lunch bag, and I chose to explode a lunch bag. Making this activity was easy. I found no difficulties in the making of the science experiment. The instructions were easy to follow. This is what I had to do...
- Go outside – or at least do this in the kitchen sink.
- Put 1/4 cup of pretty warm water into the bag.
- Add 1/2 cup of vinegar to the water in the bag.
- Put 3 teaspoons of baking soda into the middle of the tissue
- Wrap the the baking soda up in the tissue by folding the tissue around it.
- You will have to work fast now – partially zip the bag closed but leave enough space to add the baking soda packet. Put the tissue with the baking soda into the bag and quickly zip the bag completely closed.
- Put the bag in the sink or down on the ground (outside) and step back. The bag will start to expand, and expand, and if all goes well…POP!

Believe (word art)
Today in my class was to find similar word's towards faith. I had a little help from the website thesaurus. This was an exiting task, because I got to customize it. It was a fun and easy activity so I hope I get to do this again in the future. In my digital learning object it show words that are similar to believe. I hope you enjoyed reading my blog post and I hope you like my word art. If you want to make your own word art click this link.
Comment below what words do you think I missed.
